Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, are allegedly having a tough time adjusting to the speculations surrounding Jennifer Aniston. Amid the conjecture, Michelle Obama refused to appear at the ‘important’ events, after the rumours surfaced on the internet.
After the ‘InTouch Magazine’ did a cover story on the rumour, ‘’The Truth About Jen & Barack!’, the newer speculations perhaps just add some fuel to the inferno. According to the report by Radar Online, the relationship between the Obamas has become estranged over the years. Not only did Michelle Obama not attend the revelled inauguration of President Trump on January 20, 2025, without any disclosure, but also the internet suggested that she didn’t like him winning.
The insider mentioned that the family reportedly had a ‘tough time’, and the attention they received because of the rumour was completely unnecessary. “The reality is, they’re more like friends at the moment. The spark has gone, and they’re simply going through the motions,” the source continued.
The public appearances of the duo have decreased over the years, suggesting that their relationship is on the rocks. While many reports attest that there is some chemistry between Barack and Jennifer, she has denied all the accusations. On the Jimmy Kimmel Show in October, she was asked about the rumours and retaliated by saying, “I’ve met him [Obama] once. I know Michelle more than him.” According to the reports, Jennifer and Barack met once – in 2007 at a Hollywood Gala.
However, is the family having a tough time? Mr Obama brushed off all the rumours by posting a heartfelt note wishing his wife, the ‘love of his life’, a happy birthday, “Happy birthday to the love of my life, Michelle Obama. You fill every room with warmth, wisdom, humour, and grace—and you look good doing it. I’m so lucky to be able to take on life’s adventures with you. Love you!” he wrote.
