The reality star shared a photo of Melania Trump, the wife of Donald J. Trump on her Instagram story, which was taken from his inauguration ceremony. According to the Tribune, the image showed Melania wearing a sleek overcoat, a pair of gloves with a brimmed hat, while she was stepping out of the car. Kardashian did not share any context or caption for the photo, however, the internet predicted the gestures and was quick to guess the endorsement for the Republican Party, despite not voicing her thoughts during the November elections.
The comments and reactions were cheeky enough to humble someone down – quickly. One user said that her stories are not even surprising, considering she is a self-made – Billionaire. Another user commented that she must’ve definitely voted for Melania’s husband. Another user expressed their gloom and said Kim and her family have been Republicans, and it’s high time not to show any support to the reality stars. A TikTok creator allegedly shared on her video that the community should cancel Kardashian’s brand till they go bankrupt and close the stores.
There has been a prolonged history between the Trump family and Kim Kardashian. The 44-year-old star reportedly visited Trump during his last presidency and interacted with them about reforming the criminal justice laws, where one of the prisoners who was facing sentence for the first time in a non-violent drug offense was given clemency. Additionally, Ivanka Trump, Donald J. Trump’s daughter, and Kim have a history of friendship, where the latter shared ‘no one sweeter’ in her story referring to Ivanka. Fueling the controversy, Saint West, Kim’s son, posted a video on his YouTube channel, now deleted by her, calling Kamala Harris ‘dumb’ and ‘stupid’.
