Jennifer Lopez, the ‘Selena’ actress, reportedly embraces a new chapter in her life after her divorce from Ben Affleck. She’s having fun, while she thinks of executing a few good projects and how ‘amazing she looks’, as per the source.
According to US Weekly, the insider has confirmed that she’s feeling herself after becoming single and thinks “Things worked out for the best and how they were supposed to.”
“She was very in love with Ben, but love isn’t enough sometimes,” the source added.
In the past year, after three months of separation, the source revealed that she doesn’t want a relationship right away, and things are ‘amicable’ between the duo. The exes are “very involved when it comes to the kids,” they added.
The actress revealed to Interview magazine, “Because, everything that I’ve done over the past 25, 30 years, being in these different challenging situations, what can I f—ing do when it’s just me flying on my own — what if I’m just free?” She added, “Or people who are romantics and love being in relationships and want to grow old with somebody, we think, ‘[We] have to have that to be whole and happy.’ And you don’t,” before joking “It only took 30 years.”
Lopez, who recently reunited with Affleck, 52, and his son, Samuel, 12, doesn’t regret splitting up. Before calling it quits, the duo worked together for their movie ‘Unstoppable’, where Affleck is one of the producers and Lopez plays the character ‘Judy Robles’.
The premiere of the movie was supposed to be on January 07, 2025, however, due to the Pacific Palisades wildfires ravaging the County, it was officially canceled. “As much as we were looking forward to celebrating this wonderful and inspiring film with you, safety is our first priority,” the representative of Amazon Prime disclosed to US Weekly. They added, “We encourage everyone to watch Unstoppable on Prime Video, which will be available globally on January 16. Thank you for your understanding and please stay safe.”
