The attack on Saif Ali Khan and the attempted robbery at his Bandra house sent shock waves to the entire nation. From fans to celebrities to politicians, everyone is concerned for the actor and is praying for his speedy recovery. At the same time, questions are being raised about the safety measures at Saif’s house. Recently, actress Rakhi Sawant reacted to the incident and expressed her concern.
According to an ANI report, in a video circulating online, Rakhi, visibly distressed, questioned the lack of security in “high-profile buildings.”
“Oh my God! Such bad news. Saif Ali Khan, with whom I have also worked before, in a song during Rakesh Roshan ji’s film at the very beginning of my struggling days. I could never have imagined, even in my dreams, that such a big tragedy could happen to Saifu,” Rakhi said.
“Yeh building wale kya karte hain? Aap itna monthly paisa lete ho, aur CCTV camera bhi nahi laga sakte? Kitni buri khabar hai yeh. 2025 mein kya ho raha hai? Itne diggaj logon ke saath kya ho raha hai? (What do the people in this building do? You charge such a high monthly fee, and yet you can’t even install CCTV cameras? This is such terrible news. What is happening in 2025? What is happening to such great individuals?),” added the actress.
The actor faced an attack by an intruder in his Bandra flat located on the 11th floor at approximately 2:30 am on Thursday.
The incident took place when the intruder reportedly confronted the actor’s maid at his home. As Saif attempted to step in and calm the situation, it escalated into a violent confrontation, leading to the actor receiving multiple stab wounds.
Saif was promptly rushed to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after being stabbed by the intruder, where he underwent surgery conducted by a group of medical professionals.
According to the doctors, Saif suffered a significant injury to his thoracic spinal cord due to a knife that became lodged in his spine, necessitating surgery to remove a 2.5-inch-long knife from his spine and to address his leaking spinal fluid.
While Saif is currently considered “out of danger,” the medical team is continuing to monitor his condition.
