Bengaluru: Cognizant has increased the retirement age to 60 years from 58 in India. The firm has said that this policy would be applicable to all associates in India.
“This change aligns with common market practice and our commitment to attract and retain experienced talent,” it stated. TOI reviewed this memo. Most IT firms have set their retirement age at 58 years. The policy is also applicable to employees who relocated on-site without a change in their payroll.
