Sahaj Pratap Sekhon (22) sank a three-pointer with three seconds left for the hooter to help Railways to a thrilling 73-72 victory over Punjab in a group-B league match of the 74th National basketball championship at the Sidsar Sports Complex on Wednesday (January 8, 2024).
With another day of league matches to go, Railways, Tamil Nadu, Services, Punjab and Karnataka had secured their entry into the quarterfinals in the men’s section.
In the women’s section, Punjab, Delhi and Kerala along with Railways and Tamil Nadu had confirmed their quarterfinal entry.
