Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, one of Bollywood’s most beloved couples, celebrated a special milestone in the most adventurous way. Marking two years of their engagement, the duo went skydiving together during their holiday in Australia.
The ‘Dabangg’ actress shared a video of their adventure, which has taken the internet by storm. The clip shows the couple holding hands mid-air and sharing a playful moment by engaging in a game of rock-paper-scissors while free-falling.
The actress shared the video and penned, “On 30th Dec 2022 we got engaged… 2 years later, we decided to celebrate by jumping off a plane!!!!! Saying goodbye to the best year 2024 on the HIGHEST note… cant wait to see what 2025 has in store for us!! Happy new year everyone!! Make it your best.”
The video starts with Zaheer Iqbal jumping out of the plane, followed by Sonakshi Sinha. The couple couldn’t hide their excitement as they held hands mid-air and even played a quick game of ‘rock-paper-scissors.’
Both were seen screaming with joy, expressing how much they loved the thrilling skydiving experience.
Several fans commented on the video, including actress Manisha Koirala wrote, “wooooohoooo you guys hv fulfilled my dream of skydiving!!!! Way to go!!!!!!”
The couple who dated for seven years got married on June 23 this year, a year and a half after getting engaged.
In an earlier interview with Brides Today, Sonakshi shared that Zaheer Iqbal is the more romantic and filmy one in their relationship. She also recalled his dreamy proposal under the Northern Lights, calling it “the sweetest thing ever” and one of their best moments together. “I was clueless about his plans to propose during that trip, but he just went for it,” she revealed.
The couple first crossed paths at a party hosted by Salman Khan. Zaheer, who made his debut in Salman Khan’s production ‘Notebook’, later worked with Sonakshi in the film ‘Double XL’ and a music video titled ‘Blockbuster’.
