Sunita Ahuja recently addressed reports surrounding her marriage with Govinda, following her revelation that they live apart. In a firm statement, she declared that no one could separate them and emphasised her deep bond with him. She also expressed her faith in Sai Baba and shared her hopes for her son, Yashvardhan, as he embarks on his own journey in the film industry.
During her recent visit to Shirdi, Sunita told Shirdi Today, “Nobody can separate us. I have a lot of fun with him. There are people who want to break homes more than outsiders. I won’t let anyone break homes. I will win because Baba is with me.”
She added, “Take care of your men. Men are like a cricket—sometimes good, sometimes bad. I have always told women to hold their men in their hands like I have. If you can’t hold them, hit them.”
The star wife also opened up about her son Yash’s Bollywood debut. “This year, I have come specially because my son getting launched. I have come to pray for Yashvardhan. I want him to earn more than his father, Govinda. Yash is doing a movie with Babil Khan. The movie hasn’t gone on the floor yet. I am doing every pilgrimage this time, so Yash gets a good name.”
In an earlier interview with Hindi Rush, Sunita had shared how her feelings of security in her marriage to Govinda have changed over time. While she once felt confident, especially when he worked with actresses like Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor, now, she admits to feeling more cautious as Govinda, now over 60, has more idle time. Although she wasn’t concerned about affair rumors in his earlier years, she now worries that his free time might lead to complications.
