Popular YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani recently shared a disappointing encounter with a Bollywood actress, criticizing her for her rude behavior during a promotional shoot. While appearing on The Thugesh Show, Ashish refrained from naming the actress but described her as “nakchadi” (arrogant) with an unnecessary attitude.
Recalling the incident, he revealed that his brother, Tani, was excitedly capturing behind-the-scenes footage when the actress scolded him. “She said, ‘You’re shooting in the middle of a scene, huh?’ in a condescending tone,” he said, adding that while the actress maintains a humble public image, her off-screen behavior was quite different. Ashish speculated that her PR team might be responsible for shaping her reputation, as his personal experience contradicted it.
“Ek actress ke sath ek promotional video kiya tha. Name obviously nahi lunga. Badi nakchadi thi yaar. Bahut faltu ka attitude tha. Bahut naatak… mere bhai ko daath diya tha. Mera bhai Tani wo bechaara mere BTS video nikaal raha tha, excited tha. Aise karke bolti hai, ‘You’re shooting in the middle of a scene huh?’ Badi nakchadi hai yaar aur bada humble banti hai bahar ya unki PR banata hai… par thi nahi bilkul bhi,” he recalled.
Despite this negative encounter, Ashish mentioned that most of his industry experiences have been positive.
On a different note, the YouTuber also spoke about his inspiring fitness journey, crediting Shah Rukh Khan for motivating him to lose weight. He recalled an interaction where SRK playfully held his belly and advised him to get fitter. The superstar reportedly said, “Ashish, please lose weight. You’ll look amazing, I guarantee it. Just hit the gym today. You’re already cute, but it’s time to get fit.”
Ashish appreciated how Shah Rukh delivered the message without body-shaming him, making the advice feel encouraging rather than harsh. “That moment changed my life,” he admitted.
