Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s fans are just a day away from witnessing their highly anticipated historical drama, Chhaava, on the big screens. Ahead of the film’s grand release on February 14, the makers hosted a special star-studded screening. Among the first to arrive and show her support for the lead actors was Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif. She stepped in with her husband, Vicky Kaushal, who held her hand tightly. Sunny Kaushal and the rest of the Kaushal family also attended the grand event in style.
At the special premiere on February 13, 2025, Katrina Kaif made a dazzling entry. The Tiger 3 actress stunned in a lightweight gray saree that beautifully accentuated her toned frame. She accessorized with elegant earrings, bangles, and a striking diamond ring, completing her glamorous look for the evening.
Vicky Kaushal, the man of the hour, left no stone unturned in making an impression at the screening. He looked dapper in a black bandhgala, paired with matching trousers and polished shoes. Fans couldn’t stop gushing over the couple as they posed together, calling them the ‘favorite couple’ of Bollywood. Some even hailed them as a ‘power couple.’
While promoting the film in the national capital, Vicky Kaushal shared Katrina Kaif’s reaction to his physical transformation for the movie. He revealed, “She was very happy—so much so that she now misses Chhaava. Every time a new Chhaava poster comes out, she likes it 4-5 times and comments, ‘Where has he gone?’ referring to my look in the film.”
He also mentioned that Katrina is eagerly looking forward to his next film, Mahavatar, because of his bearded look. Speaking about his post-shoot indulgence, he said, “I ate gol gappe and chaat after wrapping up the shoot.”
Vicky admitted that preparing for Chhaava was an intense experience, leaving him little personal time. He praised Katrina for her understanding and support, stating, “When you’re shooting non-stop—12-hour shifts, 2 hours of training before, 2 hours of action rehearsals after—you hardly get any time for yourself. By the time you return home, you just want to sleep. But Katrina, being part of the industry, understands my work. She was very kind and sweet about it.”
Chhaava, a historical action drama, brings to life the story of the Maratha king, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Vicky Kaushal plays the legendary warrior, while Rashmika Mandanna portrays his wife, Maharani Yesubai. The film also features an ensemble cast, including Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Diana Penty.
