Karan Tacker is stepping into the dark side with the upcoming paranormal thriller ‘Bhay‘.
Stepping away from his usual crime and espionage dramas, Tacker will portray real-life paranormal investigator Gaurav Tiwari, as he straddles the line between science and the supernatural. Speaking about his role, Tacker described it as one of the most “immersive and joyful experiences” of his career.
“Gaurav’s life was a fascinating blend of science and spirituality, belief and scepticism. His thought that ‘knowledge cancels fear’ is what drew me to this show,” he shared.
“Bhay is an exploration of the unknown and a tribute to a man who dedicated himself to unveiling the mysteries that lie beyond our understanding.”
The actor, on Friday, also took to his handle to share the first trailer of the new series that is sure to send chills down your spine.
Joining Tacker in the supernatural thriller is an impressive ensemble cast, including Kalki Koechlin, Danish Sood, and Saloni Batra.
The show promises a gripping mix of suspense and horror, where every shadow hides a secret and every creaking door hints at a chilling revelation. According to reports, this new project will be based on the life of Gaurav Tiwari was found dead of asphyxiation at his Dwarka home on 7th July 2016. While his death has been ruled out as suicide, a lot of people continue to disagree with the conclusion.
