Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ has completed a two-week run at the box office. The film headlined and helmed by Kangana Ranaut, has stars like Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Choudhary, Milind Soman, late Satish Kaushik, and more. According to the Sacnilk report, the film has minted Rs. 3.18 crore in the second week and made a business of Rs. 0.10 crore on its 3rd Friday, owing to which the total of the movie stands at – Rs.17.85 crore.
Released on January 17, 2025, the movie was the talk of the town right from the word go. Its release envelope was pushed many times and it faced bans, protests, and many other controversies. Despite all this, it made a decent opening and in its debut week, it collected Rs. 14. 3 crore. Not just this, it gave its competitors – ‘Azaad’ starring Ajay Devgn and introducing Rasha Thandani and Aman Devgan, and ‘Game Changer’ featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani a good run for money. Week two saw a dip in the business, where the movie struggled to make even a proper crore. Initially, it tried to maintain a steady pace, but since Thursday, the numbers have been going down. On Thursday, the movie made Rs 0.18 core, which by Friday came down to Rs. 0.10 crores.
