Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his film ‘Deva‘ which is set to release this Friday, on January 31. The actor will be seen in a cop avatar for this one and the songs, trailer have already gotten a great response. Right ahead of the release, Shahid had a Q and A session with his fans on X (Formerly Twitter) on Thursday afternoon and the actor made some revelations.
He was asked by a fan, “Aapka favourite contemporary actor kon hai?” He replied and said, “I love Hrithik and Ranbir.”
However, the biggest surprise for fans was that Shahid was that Shahid has now announced his next with Vishal Bhardwaj. A fan wrote to him, “What is the Next Project you are working on after #Deva?” Shahid replied, “The only the only vishal bhard. Back to the bard super excited.”
Shahid and Vishal’s collaboration has been hugely loved in the past. The duo did ‘Kaminey‘ and ‘Haider‘ together and both these films are considered in the list of the best films of Shahid’s career. They also did ‘Rangoon’ together which starred Saif Ali Khan, Kangana Ranaut along with Shahid. However, this one did not get the kind of response which the other two movies got.
During this chat, Shahid was also asked what intrigued him about the script of ‘Deva’ and he said, “The intrigue intrigued me and of course deva as a character. Cop action thriller in a real raw edgy intense space felt super fresh to me not seen that in a while in a Hindi film.”
Meanwhile, ‘Deva’ stars Pooja Hegde opposite Shahid and is directed by Rosshan Andrrews.
