India is currently the talk of the town all around the world owing to the Maha Kumbh Mela. With the rarest of rare planetary alignments, it is the most auspicious spiritual event. People from different walks of life are coming together to witness its grandeur and magic. Recently, Bollywood’s beloved star Milind Soman with his wife Ankita Konwar also attended the Maha Kumbh Mela for a spiritual retreat.
The couple was seen performing certain sacred rituals. On the auspicious occasion of Mauni Amavasya, they took a holy dip and paid homage to the almighty.
It appeared like attending the Kumbh and taking the holy dip gave Milind a fresh perspective on life. He highlighted how we humans are just tiny pieces in the grand scheme of the universe.
Milind expressed his gratitude towards life and shared it is important to cherish every part of it.
He shared his journey in two posts carrying multiple pictures, in which Milind in his traditional yellow dhoti and rudraksha beads, signified his respect for the culture. His wife, Ankita, also wore traditional attire, and the positivity on her face added to her radiance.
Sharing one of his posts, Milind wrote – “Blessed to be at the Mahakumbh with @ankita_earthy on the very special day of mauni amavasya ! Such a spiritual space and experience reminds me of how small and insignificant I am in the vastness of existence and how every moment that we are here is so special. Even though my heart is full, I am saddened by the events of last night, and my prayers are with the families who lost loved ones. Har Har Gange! Har Har Mahadev!!”
In his second post, he mentioned – “There are no words to describe how full my heart is right now! To have the opportunity to be at the Mahakumbh and that too on the auspicious moments of Mauni Amavasya is beyond my comprehension 🙏🏽 These are the moments that make you realise the importance of our very insignificant existence. My heart goes out to the people who lost their loved ones last night 🙏🏽 May we all find peace through our prayers. Har Har Mahadev 🚩♥️🔱”
Earlier, filmmaker Kabir Khan also attended Kumbh and expressed his gratitude. He felt blessed to have the opportunity to visit the spiritual event. Further, Hema Malini also attended Maha Kumbh and took the holy dip on Mauni Amavasya. This only highlights the huge respect that stars hold in their hearts for the nation’s culture and traditions.
