Saif Ali Khan was injured during a robbery attempt at his Mumbai home on January 16. He underwent surgery and has now been discharged to recover at home. A recent photo of him with his son Ibrahim after the surgery has gone viral. The incident has led the family to improve their security measures.
In the pic, which is doing the rounds on social media, Saif was seen in a photo wearing a dark blue t-shirt, white pants, and shoes, while his son Ibrahim wore a blue shirt and off-white ripped jeans. Recently, Saif and Kareena asked the paparazzi not to take pictures of their children, Taimur and Jeh. They requested that the media avoid photographing the kids when they leave or return home and specifically asked that Taimur and Jeh not be photographed at parks, birthday parties, or sports centers. However, they welcomed photographers to take pictures of them at public events.
On the Jan 16, Eliyamma Philip, Jeh’s nanny, first spotted the intruder and raised the alarm. The Mumbai Police arrested the attacker, Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, a 30-year-old from Bangladesh. An official explained that he got into the Khan family’s home by entering through the duct area, climbing to the 12th floor using a pipe, and entering through a bathroom window. After coming out of the bathroom, he was seen by the actor’s staff, which led to the knife attack.
