Shahid Kapoor reacts to Saif Ali Khan’s attack: “Happy to see him back and doing well” |

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has returned home after being discharged from Lilavati Hospital, where he was treated for injuries sustained during a violent attack at his residence. Fellow star Shahid Kapoor expressed relief at his recovery and shared joy to see the ‘Race’ actor back and doing well.
During an interview with The Indian Express, the ‘Jab We Met’ star shared that such incidents can happen to anyone and stressed the need for better security measures in residential areas. He noted that while Mumbai is generally considered a safe city, the shocking nature of this attack has raised concerns among residents.
He further said, “There are many cities where these things happen and it’s not a big deal only. But, this can happen to anybody. I am not going to say that celebrities are a soft target”.He also shared that there are a lot of people who probably get caught up in a situation like this. The fact this happened with a celebrity, it is being talked about more however it can also occur to any normal individual. He further said, “It is definitely something that we should look into. Security in residential complexes really needs to be taken seriously. I am sure everybody is shocked by what happened. We all are just happy to see that he is back and doing well”.
During the attack, Saif sustained significant injuries, including a serious wound near his spinal cord. He was quickly rushed to the hospital, where he underwent emergency surgeries to address his injuries. The police have arrested the assailant, identified as Mohammad Shariful Islam, who allegedly entered the house through air-conditioning ducts. Authorities are investigating the case further and have increased security measures around Khan’s residence.
