‘Sawaar Loon’ fame singer Monali Thakur, who is celebrated for her sweet yet strong vocals was rushed to the hospital recently after experiencing severe difficulty breathing during a live performance.
Monali was performing in West Bengal at a music festival when suddenly the artist started struggling to breathe. Reportedly, it looked like Monali was in acute distress and thus, she immediately halted her performance.
It was heartbreaking to see how Monali in a very short time faced a rapid deterioration in her health. The singer was then rushed to Dinhata Sub-District Hospital. Reportedly, Monali’s team thought on their feet and quickly arranged an ambulance to transfer the singer to a private hospital in Cooch Behar. Reportedly, as we speak, the singer is getting proper medical care.
As of now, neither Monali nor her team has shared any health updates on social media.
Meanwhile, a couple of weeks back, Monali raised her voice against the mismanagement at Varanasi. The singer was performing in the city when she stopped her concert in the middle and said, “I am disheartened that my team and I were so excited to perform here. Let’s not talk about the infrastructure and its condition, as that is the management’s responsibility. Time and again, I’ve said that I could injure my ankle here. My dancers have been telling me to calm down, but everything was a mess.”
“We were trying so hard because I am answerable to you all, and you come for me, right? So, you will hold me accountable for all of this. I hope I grow so much that I can take all the responsibility myself and never have to rely on any Tom, Dick, and Harry who are such a waste, unethical, and irresponsible. I sincerely apologize that we have to shut down this show, but I am going to come back for sure. And I hope I can give you a much better event than this. So, forgive us,” the singer added.
