With the intent and zeal to change the game, Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’ made it to the theatres on January 10, 2025. The movie has completed a successful run of 13 days at the box office and though initially it appeared that the film is set to leave a mark, the numbers now are showing a different tale.
According to the Sanilk report, on its second Wednesday has minted Rs.0.75 crore only. It’s been days that the movie is trying to reach the Rs. 130 crore mark but has failed to do so. As per the latest calculations, ‘Game Changer’ stands at Rs.128.05 crore net collection in India.
The movie which was initially announced in 2021, had a great opening on the release date – January 10, 2025. It made a business of Rs.51 crore across multiple languages and gave the impression that it is here to stay. However, from the second day onwards, there was a significant dip in the business. Fortunately, for a week, the movie had no major pan-India competition, and thus, even with a slow business, it was able to maintain its reign at the box office.

As aforementioned, for a week, there was no big pan India release to give a competition to ‘Game Changer,’ and that changed on January 17, when not one but two highly anticipated films got released – Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Azaad’ ft. Aman Devgan and Rasha Thandani. Though ‘Game Changer’ was able to stay ahead of ‘Azaad,’ it failed to beat ‘Emergency.’ Even during the slow business of weekdays, where ‘Emergency’ minted only Rs. 0.85 cr on Wednesday, it outperformed the Ram Charan starrer by a margin.
