Actress Rozlyn Khan, a brave cancer survivour, recently reacted to some comments made by Hina Khan about cancer recovery in her interviews. The statements did not sit well with Rozlyn.
The actress, who has personally recovered from stage 4 cancer, has shared her in-depth knowledge on the subject. She has now publicly accused Hina Khan of spreading misinformation about her own recovery.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Rozlyn expressed surprise at Hina Khan’s claim of a 15-hour surgery. She questioned the details, particularly mentioning mastectomy, and stated that based on her own experience, she was unconscious for three days after the surgery, making it hard to believe the claim of smiling immediately after coming out of the operation theatre.The actress went on to say that she believes Hina is exaggerating to grab attention. She pointed out that mastectomy, which involves removing the entire breast and reconstruction, is a major surgery that lasts 8 to 10 hours, with samples sent for lab testing while the patient remains unconscious. She also criticised Hina for traveling the world during chemotherapy, stating that it goes against cancer treatment protocols.
The actress further criticised Hina for hiding her baldness and questioned why she hasn’t openly discussed her cancer treatment. She pointed out that if Hina was truly at stage 3, she would have undergone radiation, and suggested that Hina is keeping details of her treatment secret to avoid being exposed. Rozlyn challenged Hina to share her medical report publicly if she truly wanted to educate others about cancer treatment, calling her actions just a PR stunt to stay in the news.
