Jeh’s nanny provides detailed account of Saif Ali Khan’s home attack in FIR: ‘There was no noise…’
The intruder who attacked Saif Ali Khan at his Mumbai home was armed with a stick and a knife, intending to rob the property. According to the FIR filed by the actor’s staff, the thief was discovered in the room of Saif’s youngest son, Jeh, and demanded ₹1 crore when confronted.
Eliyama Philip, Jeh’s nanny, was the first to spot the intruder around 2 AM. Initially mistaking him for Kareena Kapoor, she soon realized it was a man wearing a cap standing near the bathroom door. She recounted this in her statement to the police as part of the FIR.
Sensing something was amiss, Eliyama rushed to protect Jeh. Upon seeing her, the intruder motioned for her to stay silent, placing a finger to his lips, as revealed in her police statement.
Eliyama further detailed in her statement how the intruder attempted to stab her with a blade while holding a wooden object in his other hand. She tried to shield herself by raising her arm, but the blade still managed to injure her. The police are now investigating based on her account.
The nanny also revealed that when the intruder was asked what he wanted, he responded, “Money… One crore.” During the altercation, another caretaker, Junu, managed to escape and immediately alerted Saif and Kareena about the attack, prompting them to act quickly.
Upon hearing Junu’s cries, Saif and Kareena rushed into Jeh’s room, where Saif confronted the intruder and asked, “Who are you, and what do you want?” This confrontation escalated the situation, leading to a struggle between Saif and the attacker.
The caretaker told authorities that the intruder attacked Saif with a wooden object and a hexa blade. Saif fought back and, with his family’s safety in mind, managed to escape the room. They locked the door behind them and contacted the authorities.
The family moved to an upstairs room after the altercation, and staff members, hearing the commotion, emerged from their rooms. They returned to Jeh’s room to find the door open and searched the house but were unable to locate the intruder. Authorities continue their investigation.
Mrs. Philip also informed the police that Saif sustained multiple injuries during the attack, including wounds on his neck, right shoulder, left side of his back, and left wrist and elbow. These details were shared with investigators as part of their ongoing work.
