Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an intruder who entered his house with the attempt of robbery. According to the statement of one of the nanny who was staying in the house, the robber had come close to Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan‘s three year old son Jeh’s bed and was demanding Rs 1 crore, thus saying that he would harm him. He was carrying a weapon. That’s when Saif heard the noise and came to his son’s rescue, according to reports.

They had a fight and Saif was stabbed six times by him. He underwent surgery and is now recuperating at the hospital.
Meanwhile, Kareena dropped a statement by the end of the day expressing that it’s been a difficult day for the family and they also requested for some privacy in this moment. She shared, “She wrote, ‘It has been an incredibly challenging day for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time, I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculation and coverage. While we appreciate the concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety. I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family. Saif is currently recovering at Lilavati hospital.
