Veteran actor Tiku Talsania experienced discomfort while attending the screening of Rashami Desai‘s Gujarati film ‘Mom Tane Nai Samjay’ in Mumbai, leading to his hospitalisation. Reflecting on the incident, Rashami expressed her surprise and concern over how quickly he fell ill.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Rashami shared that her meeting with Tiku Talsania went well, and he appeared to be in good health at the time. She reassured his fans and well-wishers, mentioning that he is currently in a better condition, surrounded by his loved ones, and under observation at the hospital.
Rashami also mentioned that Tiku appeared to be fine during their meeting, as seen in the videos. She praised him as a great talent and a wonderful person, expressing gratitude for the support and prayers people are sending for his quick recovery.
Reflecting on the moment Tiku fell ill, the actor expressed that she was unaware of how or when it happened, as it occurred suddenly and unexpectedly.
Rashami explained that after their meeting, Tiku spoke to one of the attendees, mentioning he wasn’t feeling well and experiencing pain. Shortly after, he was rushed to the hospital, with the discomfort setting in just 15 minutes after their interaction.
When asked if she had contacted Tiku’s family, the actor shared that she is aware he is doing better. However, she hasn’t reached out to him yet, as she feels it’s not the right time to disturb the family during this situation.
Initial reports suggested that Tiku Talsania had suffered a heart attack, but his wife, Deepti Talsania, clarified in an interview with NDTV that it was actually a brain stroke. She explained that he started feeling unwell around 8 pm while attending a film screening and was promptly admitted to the hospital.
Tiku Talsania’s most recent appearance was in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, a film released last year. The project also featured Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri.
