Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are finally back to the city. Virat was in Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy and Anushka had accompanied him. The couple has been largely spending time away from Mumbai post the birth of their second child, Akaay. They’ve finally returned to the city. But Virat made sure that Anushka and the kids got into the car safely and only then he waved at the paparazzi. They were spotted at the private airport in Kalina.
Meanwhile, before arriving to Mumbai, Virat and Anushka visited Premanand Maharaj and took his blessings. A video of them went viral on social media wherein they were seen with their kids with Premanand Maharaj but Vamika and Akaay’s faces were blurred.
Maharaj can be heard telling Virat that his success on the field of cricket gives happiness to the entire country, hence that’s his seva. He also spoke to them about how to deal with success and failure post the recent series in Australia where the Indian team could not perform exceptionally.
But reacting to it, Anushka said, “Mujhe sirf prem bhakti de dijiye aur kuch nahi (I just want to have love in my heard for the Lord.”
Premanand Maharaj praised the couple for their inclination towards spirituality and devotion despite their level of fame. He said that it’s difficult to feel connected to God and have ‘bhakti’ amidst fame, success and money. However, Anushka said that bhakti is above everything.
