Vishesh Bhriguvanshi was in splendid form, scoring 35 points, to guide Delhi to a 81-66 victory over Kerala in the last league match of the 74th National basketball championship at the Sidsar Sports Complex on Thursday (January 9, 2024).

In the quarterfinals, Delhi will play another team that was consistent through the league, Karnataka. Services will play Punjab in the last-eight stage. Defending champion Tamil Nadu will play the winner of the match between Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh while Railways will clash with the winner of the contest between Rajasthan and Gujarat.

In the women’s section, Tamil Nadu will play Madhya Pradesh in the quarterfinals, while Delhi will meet Chhattisgarh. Defending champion Railways will take on the winner of the match between West Bengal and Gujarat, while Kerala will lock horns with the winner of the Maharashtra-Karnataka clash.
