Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan who last captivated the audience with his debut film ‘Maharaj’ helmed by Siddharth P Malhotra, has now buzzed with a new piece of update. Yes, you read it right! The actor will be seen alongside Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor.
This fresh pair is all set for the release of their second film, ‘Loveyapa’. A romantic comedy with a modern twist, the film has already created buzz among fans, especially after the release of its first quirky and upbeat track. With its unique concept and music, ‘Loveyapa’ has created hype on social media platforms.
According to Pinkvilla, it has been said that Aamir will quit smoking if ‘Loveyapa’ becomes a box-office success. Aamir has reportedly taken a mannat to quit smoking if his son Junaid Khan’s upcoming film, ‘Loveyapa’, turns out to be a success at the box office. This gesture highlights Aamir’s love and support for his son.
While watching the rough cut of the film, the actor admitted to ANI interview, “I liked this film, it is very entertaining. The way our lives have turned out these days due to mobile phones, and the interesting things that happen in our lives due to tech, are shown in the film. All the actors have done a good job.”
Aamir further praised Khushi Kapoor’s performance in the film, saying it reminded him of her late mother, Sridevi, and her energy. He will also unveil the trailer of the film on January 10, 2025.
The film is a modern romantic comedy filled with heartwarming moments, vibrant music, and beautiful visuals.
Alongside Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan the film stars Grusha Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Tanvika Parlikar, and Kiku Sharda. Directed by Advait Chandan (Laal Singh Chaddha), it’s produced by Phantom Studios and presented by Phantom and AGS Entertainment.
The movie is set to release in theaters on February 7, 2025.
